Afternoon by the Snake Man

Afternoon Madame, welcome I say
Are you ready for me to chew on your flesh!
We are proud to have you on this lovely day
We are ready to eat something looking so fresh!
We hope you enjoy a great time here
It will be your last, for from your meat I’ll thrive!
Have no worry you have nothing to fear

Though you will never, ever leave this place alive!

A Phoenix

I believe in a phoenix an immortal bird of kindness,
Kindness that lives forever, in bright lights that could cause blindness

There is such a thing like a phoenix, fiery red, and flies in flames
Across the dull blue sky of ours, not noticed to remain sane

You should believe in the phoenix, it’ll heal you when you’re in pain
Why else would the phoenix help someone so boring and so plain

Let me believe in the phoenix, it makes me happy when times are gray

For all the bad that happens now, I hope the phoenix will come one day

No Place Called Home

It happened again, someone mocked her again for her difference. “Just because your planet bombed doesn’t mean this can be your home now, scum!” Instantly she was remembered of the losses and disappointments she had to experience. Being very young when her planet got destroyed she could never believe in the reality of calling a place her home and being proud to be there.

I comforted her explaining that I shall always be there for her, and she should let nobody bring her down. She has to be brave, only then could people respect her for who she really is, and forget about the other w questions. She would only shrug, as if saying “haven’t heard that yet,” but I’ll keep saying this to her till she’ll understand, and she will understand one day.

Sally Jim

No accident, no missing limb, not even the smallest or largest thing
could stop dear conscientious Sally Jim, from helping with everything.
She’d pick up my clothes, cards, bottles, and plates
I lazier remain in bed, thinking I should help to late
The many drinking games that took place last night
Sally Jim clears up for me while I fight
Fight to clear up my own mess me and my friends had made
I twist, turn, roll, crawl, sit up, lie down, fall out, and across the floor I wade

Oh Sally Jim

Contrary Tilly

On the Contrary Tilly
Your hair is nothing but filled with clutter
Of your morning schedule along with breakfast bread and butter
Your face has been shown no love at all
Rather looking battered up after playing football
Your clothes seem tattered and are wore without thought
Why are you not wearing anything sweet and short
This job is only for the prepared and exceptive women
How do you plan to do a clean job of engineering

Today Tilly
