The car did not drive smoothly; if I had
known better, I could be arrested for insane driving. After my tire had burst,
there was only one available resource growing at the side of a gate. I had no
time to call some engineer to bring a new tire, Kay was waiting for me.
My
Car bounced, and bashed along the road almost looking like it was a happy car
prancing along. I felt lucky as it didn’t look like anyone was having any
concern over my unique driving style and my peculiar new wheel. Every time I was able to capture a glimpse of someone
capturing a glimpse of my car, they seemed to look curious, which was
encouragement for me as nobody spotted any real harm I was doing.
I
was almost at Kay’s school, to which I had already expected to be late on Kay’s
watch. Kay did not like to be left alone at school, and due to our house being
miles away, she’d usually be the last child left.
I
parked my car just at the front of the gate and immediately found her leaning
against the wall. She looked sad and disappointed, until she spotted the car
and the bizarre new wheel I gave it, and like most people she looked very very
curious.
