Out on the balcony, Abi felt cold, but
didn’t believe the weather was to blame. She felt like a derelict hairless
puppy, wanting love, but kept getting lost trying to find it. Abi couldn’t even
remember who’s balcony she was standing on. Perhaps someone would find her and chase her off the building ending everything for assailable Abi. She was on the
balcony now though, best to make the most of it.
Staring hopefully at the sky Abi started to extemporize a song and dance routine. Who was it for? The sky of course, does that sound insane? Abi did it regardless, hoping something would happen. Actually, what she wanted to happen exactly was it to rain love. Now does that sound insane? You would think differently if you were there, like most occasions your friend tells you about: you can’t properly understand unless when you are there.

Abi remained
dancing and singing a song of complete improve. So much
so she started to sweat, grow tired, and
even feel pain. However no one was around to judge or speak logic to her so it
could work. Would you believe that it did?
The sky rained incongruous love over Abi,
washing away all of her derelict emotions. The sky and rain felt jovial, giving
Abi that slight saving grace, for her to go on with her life, to find all the
love she deserved.
